SD Lawn Maintenance ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Stratos Dynamics LLC, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit sdmow.com or use our services, and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly:
- Quote requests & contact forms: name, email, phone number, property address/ZIP, service preferences, and any message you submit.
- Text message conversations: if you text us for a custom quote, we process the content of that conversation (e.g., quantities, service details) to calculate a price.
- Bookings & payments via Square: Square collects and stores your payment information directly under their own privacy terms — we never see, handle, or store your full card number ourselves.
We collect information automatically through:
- Google Analytics 4 — page views, device type, approximate location, referring sites (anonymized).
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — pageview and lead-conversion events for ad measurement.
- Cookies & local storage — used for analytics and basic site functionality.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to quote requests and schedule services.
- To send service confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups via email, text, or phone.
- To improve our site and understand how visitors use it.
- To run targeted ads on Google and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) for similar local homeowners.
3. Third Parties We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason, ever. The third parties below process your information only to help us deliver, schedule, and bill for our services on our behalf — never for their own marketing or resale. In fact, nearly all of the sensitive handling of your information (payment processing, message delivery, scheduling) happens on these established third-party platforms rather than on servers we operate ourselves:
- n8n — our workflow automation platform; securely stores and routes your quote/contact information so we can respond quickly and keep your service history organized.
- Square — handles all bookings, invoicing, and payment processing, including your card information, directly under its own security standards (privacy policy). We never see or store your full card number.
- Twilio — delivers the text messages we send you, such as quotes, confirmations, and reminders (privacy policy).
- Resend — delivers the emails we send you, using a domain-verified sending address (privacy policy).
- Google & Meta — analytics & advertising platforms, if and when enabled on this site.
4. Business Outreach Communications
If you're a business contact (property manager, restaurant, realtor, HOA, or similar) and receive an email from us about our commercial lawn maintenance services, that email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately and permanently removes you from all future outreach from us — no further action needed.
5. Your Choices
- You can opt out of analytics tracking by enabling "Do Not Track" or using a browser-level blocker.
- You can stop text messages at any time by replying "STOP," or unsubscribe from any email using the link included in that email.
- You can request deletion of any personal data we hold by emailing us at the contact info below.
6. Data Retention
We keep contact information for active and past customers for as long as needed to run our business and meet tax/legal obligations (typically 7 years). Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults (14 months).
7. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
